Revision as of 22:09, 21 May 2024

This is a work in progress if you happened to stumble across it. This is my attempt at ranking every season of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders from 1972 to present to determine what season can say they truly had the best group of cheerleaders.

In order to accomplish this I took a count of each individual and their seasonal tenure then divided it by the total number of cheerleaders for that season to get the Power Rating (Pwr Rt)

The second number calculated is the Future Power Rating (F Pwr Rt) which takes the top tenure achieved by a cheerleader, then applied backwards to every season she cheered.

The example would be Vonciel Baker who cheered for 8 seasons from 1972 to 1980 (if you did the math, she took one season off). Vonciel's 1972 season tenure is 1 for her rookie year, but we will apply the eight for the future potential she has with the squad.

The last and determining calculation is the Actual Rating which is the two former added together and then divided by 2 which will give a balance of actual and potential teams stats to help determine bragging rights.

I can probably explain this better when I revisit this later. It's been a long day compiling all the data and I need to rest. All the data is compiled and will be added shortly, it's just a matter of formatting it for this table.

This list can be sorted by clicking on the title in each column.
